nikao, from G3529; to subdue (lit. or fig.):--conquer, overcome, prevail, get the victory.

Luke 11:21  When a strong man armed keepeth his palace, his goods are in peace: Luke 11:22  But when a stronger than he shall come upon him, and overcome nikao him, he taketh from him all his armour (the Word of God), and divideth his spoils (the Church, corporate body)

Rom 12:21  Be not overcome nikao of evil, but overcome nikao evil with good.

John 16:33  These things I have spoken unto you, that in me ye might have peace. In the world ye shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome nikao the world.

Rom 3:4  God forbid: yea, let God be true, but every man a liar; as it is written, That thou mightest be justified in thy sayings, and mightest overcome nikao  hen thou art judged.
