enemies
(Fellow, so called “Christians”)

By John Darash

echthros, from a prim. echtho (to hate); hateful (pass. odious, or act. hostile); usually as a noun, an adversary (espec. Satan):--enemy, foe

Mat 10:36  And a man's foes shall be they of his own household.

Mat 13:24  Another parable put he forth unto them, saying, The kingdom of heaven is likened unto a man which sowed good seed in his field: Mat 13:25  But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.

Luke 1:68  Blessed be the Lord God of Israel; for he hath visited and redeemed his people, Luke 1:69  And hath raised up an horn of salvation for us in the house of his servant David; Luke 1:70 As he spake by the mouth of his holy prophets, which have been since the world began: Luke 1:71 That we should be saved from our enemies, and from the hand of all that hate us;

Luke 19:41  And when he was come near, he beheld the city, and wept over it, Luke 19:42  Saying, If thou hadst known, even thou, at least in this thy day, the things which belong unto thy peace! but now they are hid from thine eyes. Luke 19:43  For the days shall come upon thee, that thine enemies shall cast a trench about thee, and compass thee round, and keep thee in on every side, Luke 19:44  And shall lay thee even with the ground, and thy children within thee; and they shall not leave in thee one stone upon another; because thou knewest not the time of thy visitation.

Phil 3:15  Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you. Phil 3:16  Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing. Phil 3:17  Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample. Phil 3:18  (For many walk, of whom I have told you often, and now tell you even weeping, that they are the enemies of the cross of Christ: Phil 3:19  Whose end is destruction, whose God is their belly, and whose glory is in their shame, who mind earthly things.) Phil 3:20  For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ: Phil 3:21  Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
